Extruded aluminum framing is aluminum alloy transformed into cross-sectional framing called profile. The extrusions in the framing enables modular design principles to be engineered into the project. All of the T-slot aluminum profiles have inclined groove flanks engineered into the profile designs. These inclined groove flanks make up the T-slot and ensure modular connections take advantage of the controlled elastic deformation, maximizing the strength of each connection.

A common misconception is that aluminum will not meet structural strength standards, when in fact extruded aluminum possesses a superior strength-to-weight ratio than steel. T-slot aluminum is tough enough for most structural framing applications. One key aspect to its durability is unlike steel, aluminum is rust resistant. The anodized coating on extruded aluminum is a natural coating that prevents rust. Without the worry of rust, there is no need to prime or paint the aluminum profile.

This means that profiles can be removed, adjusted or repositioned using the appropriate component technology. There are three profile weight classifications: Standard, Light and Economy. Each are used for their own specific applications and many times they are used cohesively. Standard T-slot aluminum profile is the strongest of the three profile weights. It is also the heaviest option. Standard Profiles are recommended for linear motion applications.

Satisfy virtually all of your construction needs using L8 by configuring or adding components into the 8mm groove such as polycarbonate panels to wire mesh.

Versatility, adaptability, strength, extensive profile & components line.
Mid-range sized line with high structural strength. Profile available in Standard and Light weight options. L6’s T-slotted groove is 6mm. Included in design where specifications require a light, yet strong structure. While there are fewer options available in this size, it is a very functional line to use for the correct application.
For crowded and compact spaces. Lightweight guarding, small enclosures and structures are common uses for this line.
Lower cost, strong, complimentary profile with multiple options.
L5 is the smallest line option offered. Best used for the smallest-sized applications. Despite the dimensional size of of L5 profile being considerably smaller than L8, it is still a very structurally sound material. This line is often used in situations where high loads are not applicable. It is commonly used in conjunction with other profiles to save material cost, while meeting specified project requirements. Available with open and closed grooves for a more attractive appearance.
Often used in conjunction with other profile lines. Small enclosures, low-load requirements, and support beams.
Lowest cost, small size, and complimentary profile option.
